Welcome to Falling Forest Cottage an Eco-conscious company doing our part to help preserve our planet and the health & wellbeing of those of us who occupy it. I make handmade natural and nature derived products including soaps, sugar scrub, lotions, body and room spray with natural colorants, natural fragrances, essential oils, ethically sourced mica and oxides and with clean scents fragrance by Candle Science. I also make wax melts made with both natural fragrance, clean scents fragrance and essential oils. I use Clean Sents by Candle Science which are both people and planet safe. Why do I use Clean Scents in my soaps and candles? Simply put to help our planet. With so many of us using essential oils it is putting a strain on resources. It takes a large amount of plant material to make a very small amount of essential oil. Large-scale harvesting of aromatic plants for commercial purposes can cause species loss, exposing them to the danger of extinction (source https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7865210/ ).

Using safe, ethically made, natural, nature derived or nature identical options helps lesson the strain on the planet.
